Scripture of the Day

This morning my mother and I was reading our daily devotional and Proverbs 18:21 was mentioned. I'd like to highlight the importance of "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue". This verse is short yet impactful in showing us that the very words we speak are either life or death and which ever we choose to speak, we will eat its fruit. Meaning if we speak death (something negatively) or life (something positively) we will see the effects of it. Keep this in mind as you experience this week! I know life normally has us on autopilot but take a few seconds to think about what you want to say before you say. Last but not least, evaluate what you've speaking death or life to in your life. Have you been speaking negatively or positively about your career advancement, current health issues, or family relationships? Which fruit have you seen develop from speaking that way? Remember, there is power in the tongue.
